Department of Social Sciences
The following scientific disciplines fall within the scope of activity of the Department of Social Sciences of the Academy of Sciences and Arts of Bosnia and Herzegovina: economy, pedagogy, politology, law, sociology. The purpose of the activities of the Department of Social Sciences is to monitor the development of the said disciplines in Bosnia and Herzegovina and assist in their advancement, and to represent the academic community in a representative way. The Department of Social Sciences is composed of four committees: Committee for Economic Sciences, Committee for Educational Sciences, Committee for Law, and Committee for Sociological Science. The Department currently has seven full members and one corresponding member. The members of the Department of Social Sciences are: academician Ivan Cvitković, academician Muris Čičić, academician Slavo Kukić, academician Adila Pašalić-Kreso, academician Mirko Pejanović, academician Miodrag Simović, academician Miloš Trifković and corresponding member Fikret Čaušević.
